October rumours round-up for Glastonbury Festival 2015
With tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2015 as good as sold out, attention now turns to the line-up and acts that are rumoured to play. Here’s a round-up of some of the headlines circling the web at the moment.
Its been quiet on the rumours front so far this year, however Michael Eavis has confirmed that the three headliners have already been signed. So far he has given no indication to who they are.
AC/DC to take a slot?
Rock legends, AC/DC have confirmed a new tour and album and are strongly rumoured to take a slot after Eavis confirmed he booked a band whist watching Metallica. Metallica and AC/DC have the same agent…
Fleetwood Mac & Queen both on the bookies cards
Oh the irony! Rumours of Fleetwood Mac taking a slot have been all over the net since day one, so there’s a good chance they’ll be performing. Along with them is a small band you may have heard of called Queen:
“There are some massive names in the frame but the money suggests Fleetwood Mac are the most likely, although today’s gamble has been for Queen,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
Prince to finally perform this year?
According to Eavis, Prince is always a target for Glastonbury and this year is no exception. “We’re always having a go at Prince, but it’s up to him whether he wants to do it or not.”
A few more acts on the rumours list include:
Foo Fighters, Muse Fatboy Slim and Calvin Harris.
