Glastonbury granted new 10 year licence
Glastonbury Festival has been granted a 10 year extension on its licence.
There was no objection to the licence by local authorities and it will now run until at least 2024, with more staff now also allowed on the site.
Organisers have confirmed that the number of tickets sold for the annual festival will remain the same at 135,000.
Emily Eavis said it is ” so good to have a plan that will help everything at Worthy Farm move forward.”
Glastonbury Festival 2014 takes place 25th – 29th June with a host of musicians and acts set to perform over the weekend.
