Foo Fighters put album on hold to work on Glastonbury Festival set
The Foo Fighters have revealed that they have put work on a new album to one side to concentrate on upcoming gigs and festivals including Glastonbury Festival 2017.
The band line-up alongside headliners Radiohead and Ed Sheeran on the prestigious Pyramid Stage at this summer’s bash. They perform on the Saturday night.
“We’ve got some shows coming up this summer. I’m not sure what the plan is for a new record. I’m sure there will be one at some point, but right now we’ve just got a bunch of gigs coming up this summer and some festivals,” said guitarist Chris Shiflett.
“I’m sure that there’ll be more coming down the pipe. And when the Powers That Be that manipulate this kind of information want the world to know, they’re gonna tell everybody,” he added.
Glastonbury Festival 2017 takes place between the 21st – 25th June. You can see the acts that have been confirmed so far on our Glastonbury 2017 Line-up page.
